Brecksville Custom Brick Steps with Lights: Code-Compliant Replacement

Code Compliance, Safety, and Details
Safety was the priority. We demolished the unsafe steps, poured proper footings, and constructed each tread and riser to meet local code for rise/run and nosing. A continuous handrail was installed where required and discrete LED lights were set into the risers for glare-free illumination. Proper drainage and frost protection were included so the new brick steps perform season after season. By coordinating patio steps and landings with the rest of the yard, the stairs act as both a functional entry and an aesthetic hardscape element.
